The Community Technology Platform supports a wide range of features including a Community Directory, Information Pages, Discussion Forums, File Exchange, Image Archive, News, Events Diary, Contact Lists, Recommended Sites, Members Only Areas and Auto E-Mail Updates.

A user-friendly Content Management System makes setting up and maintaining a community a quick and easy process. Secure access, custom branding and privacy can also be included using the SecureExchange version of the system.

The Technology Platform can support any number of communities. An optional Community Directory module is available to help users quickly locate communities that may be of interest to them.


Each community can consist of any combination of information pages and interactive features.




A Discussion Forum can be easily added to a community allowing users to debate and discuss the latest issues.

The system supports threaded discussions, collapsible threads and file attachments.


A File Exchange provides all the benefits of a shared hard-drive! The functionality mimics the familiar File Manager style. Users can upload / download files, create folders and so on. An optional online virus checker can be included to scan files as they are transferred to and from the exchange.


The Image Box facility provides a quick and convenient method of sharing pictures with other community visitors. Thumbnails of each image are automatically generated allowing users to preview what is available before choosing to view the full image. Images can be arranged into folders to aid organisation.


Share the latest News with your community! Each 'article' can include headline, body text, images, links, contacts and / or downloadable documents.

A list of the latest headlines is displayed at the head of the page. Clicking jumps directly to the article.


The Events Diary is an easy way to promote forthcoming events. Each Event description can include a title, date/time, text, images, contacts, links and / or downloadable forms or documents.

Events can span multiple days and are listed in date order at the head of the page. Clicking and event title links to its full details.


The Contacts module provides a quick and easy way of maintaining a list of useful contacts. Each 'contact' can include a name, organisation, address, telephone number, fax number, e-mail and weblink.


The Recommended Sites facility allows users to share their favourite links with other users of the community.


An optional Membership Module provides support for users joining communities and for the creation of 'members only' communities.

Members can choose to receive regular e-mail updates informing them of the latest community activity.


Setting-up and maintaining a community is simplicity itself. All features are accessed via a web-browser and no special hardware/ software or IT skills are needed.

A Content Management System makes adding and updating content a quick and simple task, and Moderator Facilities ensure that unwanted content submitted by users can be quickly changed or removed.
